In this exciting position, you will operate various heavy machinery and perform essential labor tasks on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely while contributing to the overall success of our operations. What you'll do Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and haul trucks with precision and skill. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to coordinate site activities and maintain a productive workflow. Transport materials using haul truck, ensuring safe loading and unloading practices. Follow safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Assist with general labor tasks as needed, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling. Basic qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) for operating tri-axle dump trucks is a benefit but not required.. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and other industry-standard equipment. Preferred qualifications At least two years excavating experience Valid drivers license Knowledge of safety regulations specific to construction sites. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
