Off-Road Dump Truck Operator Job Description As an Off-Road Dump Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to transport earth and rock on a commercial job site in Lebanon, IN. This role requires expertise in commercial and civil construction, particularly in earthwork and earth moving. Responsibilities Operate off-road dump trucks to move earth and rock within the commercial job site. Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of dirt, and manage pulling behind scrapers. Adhere to a strict work schedule from 6am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday, with possible extended hours on Saturdays. Be prepared to transfer to other out-of-state sites as needed. Comply with safety protocols and site code of conduct. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating heavy equipment. Experience in commercial and civil construction, especially in earthwork and earth moving. Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR check. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to travel and adapt to different work sites. Flexibility with work hours, including working 10-12+ hours a day. Work Environment The job site is located on open farmland in Lebanon, IN, exposed to varying weather conditions typical of Indiana, including hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The site adheres to rigorous safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards. Professional appearance and behavior are expected, with a strong emphasis on communication and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety and efficiency. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
