The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of goods across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a skilled driver with experience in driving, load & unload procedures and load securement. Duties Load and unload items efficiently, adhering to safety protocols Drive roll back and pickup and delivery of towed items Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after trips Manage route driving schedules to optimize delivery times Handle cargo securely during transit to prevent damage or loss Utilize forklift equipment when necessary for loading or unloading cargo Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Experience Valid, driver license with medical card and clean driving record (CDL is a plus) Proven experience in commercial driving, including roll-back operation Experience with delivery, driving, securement, and load & unload procedures Equipment operating, load/unload preferred Prior experience operating forklifts is a plus Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to commercial trucking Ability to handle automatic and manual transmission vehicles confidently and efficiently This position is ideal for experienced drivers seeking a professional role in transportation that emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service.
