Full-Time | Contract | Overtime Available Now Hiring Experienced Civil Construction Professionals We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators and Skilled Civil Construction Laborers for multiple upcoming projects throughout South Louisiana. These are long-term opportunities with a well-established civil construction contractor performing site development, earthwork, drainage, underground utilities, roadway, and concrete projects. We are looking for dependable candidates with strong field experience, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced construction environments. Positions Needed Heavy Equipment Operators Motor Grader Operators Excavator Operators Bulldozer Operators Loader Operators Backhoe Operators Skid Steer Operators Off-Road Haul Truck Operators Compactor/Roller Operators Pipe Layers Concrete Finishers Skilled Civil Laborers Equipment Experience Preferred Candidates with experience operating or working around the following equipment are highly encouraged to apply: Caterpillar Motor Graders Bulldozers Hydraulic Excavators Front-End Loaders Backhoes Skid Steers Articulated Dump Trucks Rollers/Compactors GPS Grade Control Equipment Topcon GPS Systems Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on civil construction job sites Perform grading, excavation, trenching, site prep, drainage, and utility work Read grade stakes, elevations, and blueprints when required Utilize GPS machine control systems including Topcon and Trimble Earthworks Assist with underground utility installation including water, sewer, and drainage systems Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Work alongside supervisors and crews to maintain production schedules Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures Maintain clean and organized work areas Qualifications 3+ years of heavy equipment or civil construction experience preferred Experience with roadway, dirt work, drainage, underground utilities, or site development projects Knowledge of Topcon GPS and/or Trimble Earthworks systems strongly preferred Ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment is a major plus Pipe laying experience with water, sewer, and storm drainage systems preferred Concrete finishing experience on civil projects is a plus Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred Ability to work outdoors in Louisiana weather conditions Reliable transportation required CDL is a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive Pay Based on Experience Overtime Opportunities Long-Term Project Work Opportunity to Work with Modern GPS-Controlled Equipment Strong Pipeline of Upcoming Civil Construction Projects Career Growth Opportunities Experienced operators and skilled laborers who take pride in quality work and safety are encouraged to apply immediately.
