Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate construction projects efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help ensure that site operations run smoothly, deadlines are met, and safety standards are upheld. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy equipment. Duties Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steer, milling machine, asphalt paver and other construction equipment to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks Manage the operation of specialized vehicles such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers to transport materials and support site activities Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety and functionality before use Follow project plans and instructions to execute tasks accurately while adhering to safety regulations and environmental guidelines Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational logs Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly Assist in site setup and cleanup activities as needed to maintain a safe and organized work environment Qualifications Proven experience operating construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A with experience driving heavy vehicles including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, tankers, or similar vehicles Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and project workflows Ability to operate specialized machinery like concrete mixers and farm equipment effectively Knowledge of construction materials handling and site logistics management Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Join us in building infrastructure that makes a difference!
