Heavy Equipment Operator ReSource Waste Services of Roxbury - 3.2 Roxbury, MA Job Details Full-time $24 - $31 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Excavator Heavy equipment operation Hoisting License Loader operation Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator ReSource Roxbury (Boston, MA area) is a construction & demolition (C&D) waste processing facility where the equipment operators are required to assist in the unloading of inbound vehicles, stacking, storing and feeding of C&D material, and the loading of outbound vehicles with recycled materials and residual waste. We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator. Job Description Our Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of the assigned equipment (excavator, front-end loader; bobcat; yard tractor, etc.). Heavy Equipment Operator must possess any and all licenses required by the Mass. Dept. of Public Safety to operate any special heavy motor equipment, including a valid Massachusetts Driver's License and Class 2A Hoisting License. Heavy Equipment Operators must have the ability to exercise good judgment and be able to focus on detail as required by the job. Mechanical background a plus as operators - will be performing service on the equipment. High school diploma or equivalent, Mechanical Trade School certificate or degree preferred. The typical work week is 40-50 hours, either Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday. Saturday hours may be required. Applicants must be available to work any assigned shift. (Shifts are subject to change based on facility needs) Valid Mass Hoisters License Cass 2A required. Minimum 2 yrs experience with Heavy Equipment Loader/Excavator. Mechanical background and Class A CDL a plus. Overtime available. Starting pay is based on experience.
