Heavy Equipment Operator

Aerotek's client is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team in the Waldorf, MD area Job Description We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in operating excavators, backhoes, and dozers, particularly for installing water, sewer, and storm pipes. This position focuses on handling all wet utilities and requires proficiency with front-end loaders, rollers, and backfilling. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and dozers to install water, sewer, and storm pipes. Manage the installation of all wet utilities efficiently and safely. Utilize front-end loaders, rollers, and perform backfilling tasks as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during operations. Essential Skills Minimum of 4 years of experience operating excavators, backhoes, and dozers. Proficiency in installing water, sewer, and storm pipes. Ability to handle front-end loaders and rollers effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any additional operating experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
