Excavator Operator

Job Overview Join our professional team as a Full-Time Excavator Operator. Duties Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and graders. Assist with site preparation by digging trenches, foundations, and grading surfaces to meet project specifications. Conduct routine inspections of machinery before and after use to ensure safety and proper functioning. Follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and site activities for reporting purposes. Support other construction activities such as paving, water management, or site cleanup as needed. Requirements Proven experience operating excavators and heavy equipment in a construction setting. Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery. Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations. Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and identify mechanical issues promptly. Understanding of site grades and drainage Experience with GPS Grade Control is a plus
