Job Description
Overview The City of Rockland is seeking two dependable, skilled individuals to join our Public Works Department as a Light Equipment Operator . This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks and related equipment for the maintenance of roads, parks, and City property, along with other general labor tasks. Qualifications Minimum 2-years of related experience High school diploma or equivalent. Physically able to perform strenuous work in varying weather. Valid State of Maine Class B (C.D.L.) Driver's License Preferred, willing to train the right candidate Pay and Benefits Starting at $25.10/hour with a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, vacation, retirement, clothing/boot allowance, and more.
