Batch Plant Loader Operator

This position is an important part of concrete production. Job Responsibilities Loads raw materials such as sand, gravel and aggregates into designated bins and hoppers for batching. Monitors material levels to prevent overloading and ensuring accurate batching. Collaborates with dispatch and Quality Control to ensure accurate and consistent proportions of materials for concrete production. Inspects materials for quality and identify any issues that may affect the final product. Communicates with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Report and equipment malfunctions, material needs or safety concerns promptly. Performs routing cleaning and maintenance tasks on loader to ensure optimal performance. Keeps the work area clean and organized. Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations. Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur. Other duties as assigned. Job Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Possession of a valid driver license Clean/safe driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Ability to pass a pre-employment physical. Knowledge of concrete production and materials is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands associated with the job. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to communicate well with coworkers and work as a team. Ability to remain calm under stressful situations. General industrial maintenance/repair knowledge a plus. Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, twist, frequently lift up to 50 lbs., stretch. Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, Saturdays may be required. Willingness and ability to travel to other company locations to help as needed.
