In this vital role, you will be responsible for clearing debris, raking materials, and assisting with various site preparation tasks to ensure smooth project progress. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive construction environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and construction processes in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks to move materials and clear debris on-site Assist with paving activities and site preparation to ensure surfaces are ready for construction phases Support the operation of dump trucks for transporting materials across the site Conduct utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or groundwork begins Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during equipment operation and site activities Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and uphold project quality standards Perform routine inspections of equipment like Caterpillar machinery to ensure optimal functioning and safety Requirements Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment including front loader trucks, dump trucks, and graders with confidence Strong understanding of utility locating procedures and safety practices Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including raking, lifting, and standing for extended periods Valid experience or certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus Construction or paving experience is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Join us if you're eager to build your skills in a fast-moving construction environment!
