Heavy Equipment Operator

Heavy Equipment Operator USA Earthworks, LLC is seeking operators to join our commercial excavation company. USA Earthworks, LLC. is a DBE and MDOT certified contractor in Plainwell, MI in business since 2011. Projects include Municipal and private work, specializing in excavation and commercial site preparation (including underground utility installation of storm and sanitary sewer, and watermain), highway and road reconstruction, and more. As a company, USA Earthworks maintains high standards in professionalism and job performance.

Responsibilities:

• Experience and ability to operate heavy equipment: Excavator, Loader, Dozer, Off road truck, Skid steer, Tractor and pans, roller, sweeper
• Be able to read and follow blueprints.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Good people skills
• Ability to get along with different personality types
• Manage stress and emotions effectively
• Attention to detail
• Recognize and resolve conflicts
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Have a valid license with good driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able follow our drug policy
