M-F Job Summary:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of equipment used in warehouse, yard, and site operations. This position supports material handling activities, equipment inspections, and the movement of raw materials and finished products while ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and operational standards. Forklift operation is a regular part of this role, and prior forklift experience is preferred. Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Operate equipment in compliance with company operating procedures and safety standards Verify equipment is in proper working condition, including tooling and safety mechanisms
Material Handling:
Load, unload, move, and position raw materials and finished components using material-moving equipment Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely and efficiently Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning activities Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Follow all safety procedures, site requirements, and company policies Communicate equipment or operational issues promptly to supervisors Assist with additional warehouse, yard, or site duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic communication and time-management skills
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; At least 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or delivery driving. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in varying environments. Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain). Strong time-management skills and flexibility for on-call assignments.

Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday Frequent use of motor coordination and finger dexterity for machine operation and equipment handling Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and climbing as required by operational duties Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
Work Environment:
Exposure to industrial settings, including warehouses, factories, and outdoor project sites. Potential exposure to dust, noise, and moving machinery, requiring adherence to safety protocols. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be necessary in certain work areas.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
