We specialize in grading, utilities, demolition, land clearing, and more, always adhering to our promise of Elite Work, Elite Service, and Elite Communication Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities and grading, with a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves operating various heavy equipment on diverse construction projects, including residential and commercial grading, site preparation, utility installation, and demolition. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, excavators, roller compactors, and skid steers for grading and utility projects. Perform excavation, trenching, and backfilling for utility installations. Conduct site preparation and finish grading for residential and commercial developments. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project specifications and timelines are met. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in demolition and land clearing operations as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in utilities and grading. Proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery, including dozers, backhoes, and excavators. Strong understanding of grading techniques and utility installation procedures. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Valid CDL (Class A or B) preferred. Current DOT medical certification required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
