  • Full-time Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and take charge of operating a variety of construction machinery to support large-scale projects.
In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering heavy equipment to facilitate excavation, material handling, and site development. Your mechanical expertise and construction site experience will be vital in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining safety standards across the job site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, high lifts and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material transport tasks Safely operate commercial vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks to deliver materials and support site operations Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues and report any concerns promptly Collaborate with the construction team to execute site development activities efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and operational reports for project documentation Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to uphold a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, high lifts, and similar equipment Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety standards and operational procedures Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments for extended periods Knowledge of farm machinery or tanker operations is a plus but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us in building something great!
