Our commitment to excellence ensures that we meet deadlines and keep our clients' businesses moving forward. Summary We are seeking a Yard Hostler to join our team at Ponce Ground Service LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within the yard, ensuring that operations run smoothly and on schedule. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our high standards of service. Responsibilities Safely maneuver trailers in the yard using a tractor-trailer. Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods. Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met. Coordinate with dispatchers to manage trailer movements effectively. Assist in maintaining an organized yard environment for optimal efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members regarding operational needs. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. Class A or Class C Acceptable. Proven experience in truck driving or yard hostling preferred. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to vehicle operation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Available Shifts:
