Job Description

Capital Materials is seeking a Skid Steer Operator to join our team at our Linn Creek, Missouri quarry . This position plays a key role in supporting daily quarry operations, including material handling, site cleanup, and production support.
What You'll Do:
Operate a skid steer and other light-to-medium equipment safely and efficiently in a quarry environment Load, move, and stockpile aggregate materials such as rock, sand, and gravel Assist with site cleanup, plant support, and general quarry operations Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning to ensure safe operation Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals Operate small equipment and tools such as jackhammers, tampers, and other power tools Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other manual equipment Follow all MSHA and company safety requirements at all times Perform general labor duties as needed and assist other team members Adapt to changing job responsibilities and support other tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For:
Experience operating skid steer, loader, or similar heavy equipment preferred Quarry, construction, or aggregate industry experience a plus Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
Schedule & Requirements:
Full-time position Overtime, nights, and weekends as needed Reliable transportation required Willingness to travel or work out of town if necessary Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
