What You'll Be Doing Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently Spread, smooth, and level materials on roadbeds and construction sites Read and maintain grade while adjusting machine settings as needed Perform documented pre-shift equipment inspections Coordinate with crew members using hand signals and radio communication Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs Work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year Work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when project demands require Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Support the crew with additional duties as assigned by supervisors What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry 2+ years of verifiable heavy equipment operating experience Valid driver's license Willingness to travel to project locations as needed Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background check Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work safely in fast-paced construction environments Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills What You'll Get Full-time, steady work PTO, health, and dental insurance 401(k) with company match Additional employee perks and benefits Opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement The chance to work on impactful civil, industrial, and commercial projects throughout the region
