Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in the successful completion of construction projects. $24 - $28 per hour DOE Reliable transportation to and from job. Overtime paid after 40 hours in a given work week. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure maximum performance and safety. Tasks include, but are not limited to: daily greasing, blowing out or replacing air filters, and keeping machine interiors clean and organized. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment as required for various projects. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction site experience. Arrive at the job on time and ensure accurate reporting of time worked via time clock. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery. Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery. Ability to operate multiple types of equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators efficiently. Strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
