Dozer Operator GBI Contractors Inc Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Dozer and Trackhoe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating modern heavy equipment and machinery, with advanced grade controls and systems including but not limited to: compact and full-size excavators, track/wheel loaders, and dozers. The role will involve operating and maintaining various types of equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, while also contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ability to self manage and address issues with foresight and communication to leadership is critical to this role. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and front loader trucks in a variety of settings, including construction sites and maintenance yards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and coordinate scheduled service of equipment to ensure optimal performance and prolong its lifespan.
• Perform mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is properly secured and stored when not in use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
• Work effectively in a team environment, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed. Requirements
• Proven experience as an equipment operator. Certifications are preferred.
• A strong understanding of the mechanical principles and operation of heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license required .
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• A commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.
• A strong work ethic and a desire to continue a successful career in the field of equipment operation
