Equipment Operator

Hoffman's is seeking reliable and motivated Heavy Equipment Operators to join our company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, excavators, front-end loaders, dozers graders, compactors and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean maintain and secure all equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties as listed below to include but are not limited to.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates multiple equipment/tools efficiently.
• Preform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
• Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
• Ability to communicate effectively with the supervisor.
• Capability to read and interpret plans.
• Perform organizing, cleaning and inventory of work areas.
• Works safely within the guidelines set forth by OSHA and the companies' safety policy.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License
• 1-3 years' heavy equipment operating experience.
• Basic skills to complete essential paperwork, e-mail communications
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint/plans and project specifications.

The majority of work performed by Hoffman's is civil excavation for both commercial and residential projects, specializing in cut/fill operations, site preparation, utility instillation, foundations, asphalt paving and concrete finishing. Please submit resume via email to office@hoffmansmt.com.
