Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure, commercial projects, and large-scale developments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery to move materials and prepare sites for construction. Safely operate specialized vehicles such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, etc. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, trenching, lifting heavy materials, and site cleanup. Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment on-site. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on commercial or construction sites including installation of site utilities. Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment and other major brands. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker trucks preferred but not required. Hands-on experience a must. Strong understanding of construction processes involving excavation, grading, lifting operations, and site logistics. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery when needed. Join us in building the future! Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
