  • Description
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
  • Perform daily equipment inspections
  • Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors
  • Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness
  • Ability to communicate with supervisor and testing technician about mat compaction efforts
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends
  • Must be willing to do physical labor
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisorMinimum Qualifications
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license but a CDL is a preferred
  • Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background
  • Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including; standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and rakingBenefits
