Trenching Operator - Mini Excavator and Trencher

Job Overview Fox Enterprise is a geothermal HVAC company looking for a reliable, experienced Trenching Operator to join our team to support our current project at Fort Bragg. The Trenching Operator will operate a mini excavator and trencher for underground utility and site development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in, excavation equipment operation, precise trenching, maintaining grade, and working safely around existing utilities. Responsibilities Operate mini excavator and trenching equipment safely and efficiently Perform trenching for installation of underground water lines Maintain proper trench depth, grade, and alignment according to project plans Work closely with supervisors and ground crew to ensure safe operations Follow all OSHA trench safety regulations and company safety standards Identify and avoid existing underground utilities Assist with site preparation, backfilling, and cleanup as needed Complete daily work logs and communicate job progress Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience operating mini excavators and/or trenchers Strong understanding of trench safety and soil conditions Ability to read grade stakes, site plans, and utility locates Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Fort Bragg Base Access Requirements (Mandatory) Candidates must meet the following requirements to work on

Fort Bragg:

Possession of a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card. Possession of a valid Social Security card. No criminal or background restrictions that would prohibit access to a U.S. military installation. Ability to pass any required background checks for base access. Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional.

$18.50 - $25.00 per hour
