Equipment Operator HD Hauling & Grading, LLC Concord, NC Job Details Full-time $21 - $28 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Excavator Dozer Loader operation Industrial equipment Skid steer loader Full Job Description Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grading Equipment Operator to join our growing grading and sitework team. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on residential, commercial, and site development projects. This position plays a key role in preparing job sites and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, has experience with grading operations, understands site plans and elevations, and takes pride in producing quality work. Responsibilities Operate grading and heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders, rollers, and motor graders Perform rough and fine grading according to project specifications and elevations Assist with site preparation, excavation, drainage, utility installation, and material handling Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Work closely with supervisors, truck drivers, and ground crews to maintain efficient job site operations Follow all company safety procedures and job site regulations Identify and report equipment issues or unsafe conditions Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas Experience Experience operating grading and heavy construction equipment required Knowledge of grading, excavation, and sitework operations preferred Ability to read grade stakes, site plans, and elevations is a plus Strong understanding of job site safety practices Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Valid driver's license preferred CDL license is a plus but not required
