Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Pile Driver Operator to join our marine construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating pile driving equipment to ensure the precise installation of foundation elements for various construction projects. Your expertise will help drive the success of large-scale infrastructure developments, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that shape communities and improve infrastructure. Duties Operate pile driving machinery and heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, backhoes, forklifts, boom trucks, and rigging gear to install piles accurately and efficiently. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Coordinate with the construction team to plan and execute pile driving operations according to project specifications and timelines. Handle materials safely within the warehouse or construction site, including loading, unloading, and shipping & receiving activities. Set up and secure rigging for lifting operations, ensuring all loads are balanced and properly supported before lifting or driving piles. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to OSHA standards, to maintain a safe work environment. Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, equipment usage, and safety inspections for project documentation. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as cranes, excavators, backhoes, forklifts, boom trucks, or pile drivers in a construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance procedures. Skilled in rigging techniques and materials handling with a focus on safety and precision. Familiarity with construction site protocols, including shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse operations. Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and project specifications accurately.
