Job Description

Job Summary Swan Song Properties LLC in conjunction with Dutton Builders is seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our family-owned residential construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate different construction projects efficiently. The primary equipment will be skid steers, excavators, and hauling 35-foot trailers . Your expertise will help ensure that site operations run smoothly, deadlines are met, and safety standards are upheld. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery with precision and safety. Perform routine inspections and maintenance if necessary on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, loading, and hauling materials using appropriate machinery. Coordinate with team members to execute construction tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others on-site. Support the setup and dismantling of construction sites by moving materials and equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy vehicles Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety standards and procedures. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency. Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Fluent in English. Additional fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
