Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, off road trucks, compactors, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Manage construction site activities by safely operating equipment including concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute site plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and preparing the site for subsequent phases. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules for accountability and efficiency. Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment for everyone on-site. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and similar machinery. Strong knowledge of construction site operations combined with mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues Ability to interpret technical manuals and operate machinery from brands like Caterpillar or other major manufacturers. Prior construction site experience demonstrating safe work practices and teamwork skills. Additional certifications in heavy equipment operation or related fields are a plus but not mandatory.
