Job Description

Job Summary Clausen & Sons is a family owned excavation contractor based out of Beatrice, NE. Based on the workload demand we're experiencing we are looking to expand our team and add another operator. As an Equipment Operator, you will be running a variety of heavy machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality project execution. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on experience will drive the success of our projects, from site preparation to finishing touches. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment while contributing to impactful construction endeavors. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid loaders, and other machinery. Manage construction site tasks such as grading, excavation, material handling, and site cleanup using appropriate machinery. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and coordinating with team members for seamless operations. Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on commercial or industrial sites. Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation, troubleshooting, and basic repairs. Valid commercial driver's license NOT required but pay will be increased if you have an active CDL Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and best practices. Hands-on experience with a variety of machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid loaders, water trucks, and compactors. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics related to heavy equipment operation.
