Competitive hourly wage based on experience About the Role A growing concrete and site construction company in the Lincoln area is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position involves operating a variety of construction equipment on residential, commercial, and municipal concrete projects. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in quality work, safety, and teamwork. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, and compactors Perform grading, excavation, site preparation, and material handling Assist crews with concrete preparation and cleanup when needed Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site Read and understand grade stakes and project plans Work efficiently with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines Qualifications Previous heavy equipment operating experience required Experience in concrete, excavation, or site development preferred Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as needed Benefits Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Health benefits available Paid time off Steady year-round work Supportive team environment Schedule Monday-Friday Occasional Saturdays during peak construction season #HSS1
