Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join a rapidly growing environmental company. This role involves long hours on your feet and working in various weather conditions such as snow, rain, cold, and heat. This role will take place at a landfill and will revolve around moving dirt. We are looking for someone with experience in site work or environmental remediation. We are offering $30 - $40 an hour and can interview this week. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery such as Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders, Skid-Steers, and Backhoes. Perform tasks related to environmental remediation, demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, and landfill cap and closures. Read and interpret plans and construction drawings. Utilize GPS machine control for precision operations. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized work environment. Essential Skills 5-10 years of construction experience. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment. Valid RI hoisting license for RI jobs. Valid MA hoisting license with 1C/2A designation for MA jobs. OSHA 10 Hour certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications 40 Hour
