Heavy Equipment Operator

Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a well-established New Hampshire contractor specializing in sitework and foundation preparation. Job Responsibilities Operate excavators, loaders, skid-steers, and backhoes for foundation prep and sitework Perform excavation for footings, foundations, and utility trenches Grade and level sites to meet specifications and elevations Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes Assist with drainage, backfill, and compaction work Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew Qualifications 5-10 years of heavy equipment experience, with foundation/site prep focus preferred Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, and excavation for foundations Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and elevations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation OSHA 10 certification Strong attention to detail and safety practices Good communication and teamwork skills Pay & Benefits $30-$40 per hour (based on experience) Health insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Steady, year-round work Apply Now Work with a respected contractor on critical early-phase construction projects and be part of a team that values quality and precision!
