• The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and ensuring the safe transport of vehicles to designated locations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of automotive mechanics. The Tow Truck Driver will operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds, and must be able to handle a variety of driving conditions. Duties Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate techniques and equipment. Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists with professionalism. Maintain accurate records of tows, including vehicle condition and any incidents during transport. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in good working order. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with vehicles being towed. Drive manual transmission vehicles as needed for various towing situations. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading heavy equipment or vehicles. Skills Proficient in driving tow trucks and understanding their operation. Ability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently. Experience with flatbed towing techniques is preferred. Strong automotive diagnostics skills to assess vehicle conditions effectively. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients in distressing situations. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to towing operations. Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles confidently. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if necessary. Forklift operation experience is a plus.
