In this role, you will operate and maintain a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into reality, contributing to the development of roads, bridges, and commercial sites. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to showcase their mechanical skills and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for experienced professionals that would like to work on our South Jersey projects. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery with precision and safety. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling to support ongoing construction activities. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to execute paving operations and other specialized tasks like utilities and sitework . Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment such as loaders or cranes. Support general labor tasks around the site as needed to keep projects on schedule. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Proven experience operating construction machinery including excavators (such as Caterpillar models), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drills. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles like dump trucks and tanker trucks. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and project workflows. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with construction materials and processes such as paving, grading, utilities, and water truck operations. Excellent teamwork skills combined with strong communication abilities to coordinate effectively on-site.
