In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, and managing materials using a variety of heavy machinery. Your expertise will help ensure smooth yard operations, support projects, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, and a skid steer, to load and unload materials accurately and safely Manage yard inventory by organizing materials and ensuring proper storage practices. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Support other team members with equipment operations. Maintain detailed logs of material movements, equipment usage, and safety checks Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, or similar machinery in construction or industrial settings Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles like dump trucks or tanker trucks preferred, but no necessary. Mainly in yard only. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Knowledge of John Deere and CASE machinery or similar brands is advantageous Embark on an exciting career path where your skills make a real difference!
