Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Loader Operator and play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient project execution. In this energetic role, you will operate heavy machinery to move materials, assist with site preparation, and support various construction activities. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment will be essential in maintaining safety, productivity, and quality on the job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Operate loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with loading and unloading materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and construction supplies. Support site preparation activities including grading, leveling, and site cleanup to ensure optimal working conditions. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Collaborate with team members to execute paving, horizontal drilling, tanker operations, and other specialized construction tasks. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment at all times. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and daily operations for reporting purposes. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators (including Caterpillar models), dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling equipment. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on heavy equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and construction processes. Knowledge of construction materials and techniques including paving and tanker operations. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
