Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

This job requires the operation of heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

Heavy equipment:

623 scrapers, roller/compactors, dozers, and other pieces of equipment. This job requires the operation of equipment used to move materials. The job is performed outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

Requirements:

Lifting a variety of heavy objects Ability to use a shovel and labor when needed Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way Keep equipment and work area clean Advise the supervisor/shop of any requirements for maintenance or repairs Participate in routine maintenance Climb in and out, on and off equipment Perform any additional work deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Foreman Available to work out of town, including overnight stays (lodging/per diem paid)

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay:

$16.00 - $26.00 per hour
