Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure that shapes communities! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to execute construction projects efficiently and safely. Your expertise in handling equipment like excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks will drive project success from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills to bring large-scale projects to life. Duties Operate a wide range of heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, water trucks, with precision and safety. Conduct pre-operation inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in site preparation by grading land, moving materials, and establishing safe work zones. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational reports. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment for everyone on site. Support additional tasks such as site clean-up and equipment maintenance as needed to keep projects on track. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators , bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, water trucks . Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating large vehicles like dump trucks and tanker trucks. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and project workflows. Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards. $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
