Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in asphalt paving, be proficient in operating heavy machinery, and possess a strong work ethic. While a valid CDL Class A is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt paving equipment, including pavers, rollers, skid steer, and mini excavators as well as other heavy machinery.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of job sites to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding project progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in asphalt paving and heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• CDL Class A is preferred but not mandatory; candidates without a CDL will still be considered.
