Heavy Equipment Operator - Roe Jan

Overview:

Red Wing Properties, Inc., is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at our Red Hook, NY location. Candidate will operate rubber-tired, tractor type vehicle, equipped with front-mounted-hydraulically-powered scoop, to lift and transport sand and gravel between storage areas, truck dump piles and specific storage piles (mounds), and storage piles to the hoppers of processing plant.

Responsibilities:

Performs pre-operational equipment checks and completes daily inspection forms. Performs pre-shift site inspection per MSHA guidelines. Loads Trucks Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and 250 hour services. Keep stock piles free of contamination Keeps yard and roadways well maintained by grading off. Repair potholes, etc. on continual basis. May be required to assist with plant maintenance May be required to perform services on other equipment when needed ( May be required to clean up shop, oil storage area. May be required to run other equipment as needed. Use company radio or CB radio to communicate with the scale house and customers to ensure correct material is loaded and that scale house is aware of product loaded. Other duties as assigned
