Heavy Equipment Operator (Akron, Ohio) We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. You will work on a variety of construction projects, from site preparation to road maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies and procedures
• Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
• Read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes to ensure accurate digging and grading
• Safely load and unload materials onto trucks using heavy equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and grade stakes
• Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:

$1700 per month
