Job Description
Loader Operator A construction company in Akron is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as loaders, bulldozers, and excavators to move and load materials on construction sites. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per week and includes accommodations for out-of-town employees.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment including loaders, bulldozers, and excavators
- Load and transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris on construction sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions
- Complete daily maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow on the construction site
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for operating heavy machinery
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and diagrams
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members on the job site
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods of time
Preferred:
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
