Job Description
Overview Towne Construction Services is seeking experienced and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and 401(k). The ideal candidate will have experience operating equipment on underground utility or site development projects and be committed to productivity, safety, and teamwork. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, and skid steers Perform excavation for water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage installation Follow grade stakes and blueprints to maintain proper elevations Work closely with pipe layers and ground crews Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Maintain safe and clean job sites Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines Qualifications Previous heavy equipment operating experience required Experience in underground utilities or site development preferred Ability to read grade stakes and understand elevations Strong understanding of job site safety practices Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation Valid driver's license preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Year-round steady work Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) Opportunities for advancement Why Join Towne Construction Services?
