We are seeking a motivated Yard Worker/Scrap Yard Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in managing scrap materials, computer work, weighing products and assist in maintaining a clean and organized yard environment. Your energetic approach will help ensure efficient operations and safety across the facility. Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move scrap materials efficiently. Load and unload scrap metals, while inspecting loads and other materials with precision and safety awareness. Basic computer skills needed. Maintain cleanliness of the yard by performing sweeping, debris removal, and sanitation tasks regularly. Assist with the sorting, stacking, and storage of scrap metals to optimize space utilization. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues. Familiarity with manufacturing or recycling environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
