Job Description:

Gillmann Services is currently seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to join our team in Hilliard, Ohio. This position is primarily responsible for operating a Komatsu PC-400 backhoe (or similar equipment) to support sewer and water line installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Komatsu PC-400 backhoe or similar heavy equipment safely and efficiently Dig trenches for main line sewer and water crews Work in and around trench boxes while maintaining safety standards Utilize attachments such as gravel buckets and gravel mixers Follow all OSHA regulations, including proper sloping and soil typing requirements Coordinate with crew members to ensure accurate and timely project completion

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of backhoe/excavator operating experience Strong knowledge of OSHA trenching, sloping, and soil classification standards Experience working with trench boxes, gravel buckets, and related equipment Must be drug-free and able to pass a drug screening Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols Apply today through Indeed or contact Gillmann Services directly to learn more about this opportunity
