The Batch Plant Loader Operator position is responsible for maintaining site stockpiles and working materials to provide compliant consistent materials to feed bins on the batch plant. Maintaining stockpiles and stockpile floors is a key component of the role, however additional duties will be assigned outside of paving operations. Those duties may include set-up of batch plant, water and dust control, general plant maintenance, yard clean-up and organization, etc. Operation of other equipment including water truck, Gannon tractor, reach lift, areal lift, etc. may be necessary. The individual will be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment daily. This position is located onsite at the Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals Assist with setup and tear down of plants Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor General housekeeping of equipment and jobsite The use of a shovel to move material will be necessary Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends Must be able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, walk, stand and sit for extended time; and use hand tools Must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. or more on a regular basis Must have High School Diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

EXPERIENCE

Must have mechanical knowledge of equipment and be able to perform routine maintenance Experience working with Concrete Batch Plants preferred CDL preferred In addition to a competitive salary of $30.00 per hour, Davis Bacon Rates apply on participating projects.
