Pay:
19/hr+ DOE Overview Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to support hazardous waste treatment operations for one of our valued clients. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced with heavy equipment, comfortable working in challenging environments, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform hazardous waste treatment in accordance with all site guidance and safety procedures alongside other heavy equipment operators. Communicate effectively over a radio system to coordinate with other departments on process flows and production needs. Conduct routine cleaning, spill cleanup, drum handling, and offloading of trailers, roll-offs, and tankers. Perform manual tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, and high-pressure washing. Maintain general housekeeping and perform basic maintenance on heavy equipment. Complete all required documentation accurately, including inventory sheets, area inspections, equipment pre-/post-trip inspections, work orders, and waste labeling (drums, totes, roll-off boxes, etc.). Follow instructions and perform additional duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Must be willing to be clean-shaven to safely wear a full-face respirator. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions while wearing full hazmat PPE. Experience operating warehouse forklifts, pallet jacks, excavators, front-end loaders, skid steers, roll-off trucks, and common hand/shop tools. Ability to read, write, and understand operational, technical, process, safety, and quality documents. Strong understanding of chemical hazards and the ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Ability to successfully complete 24-hour
HAZWOPER
training upon hire. Professional, courteous, and cooperative conduct with both customers and co-workers. Strong time management skills, reliability, and the ability to follow through on tasks and challenges. Ability to adhere to a consistent work schedule and complete responsibilities efficiently and safely. #
