In this role, you will be responsible for operating mini excavators and assisting with various site tasks to ensure efficient project progress. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and construction site experience will be vital in supporting our construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing a range of machinery including excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks. Your active participation will help us deliver quality results safely and on time. Responsibilities Operate mini excavators with precision to perform digging, trenching, grading, and material handling tasks. Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and equipment as needed. Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozer, loader, backhoe, grader, and water truck to facilitate smooth workflow. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure safety standards are maintained and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary. Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Assist with general labor duties including site cleanup, material transport, and equipment maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience operating mini excavators and other heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, and water trucks. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; not required, experience with commercial driving is a plus. Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with excavation and earth-moving activities. Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures. Ability to operate Caterpillar, John Deer equipment or similar brands confidently. Skills in horizontal drilling, tanker operation, paving work, or other specialized tasks are advantageous but not required.
