Job Description
Nutter Corporation is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for earthwork, underground utility, and site development projects. We run a newer fleet of John Deere GPS-equipped equipment and are looking for operators who can produce, work safely, and take pride in their work. If you know how to move dirt, hold grade, trench utilities, and keep production moving, we are the company for you. What You'll Be Doing Operating heavy equipment Mass excavation, grading, utility trenching, pipe installation, backfill, and finish work Reading grade stakes and working with GPS machine control systems Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Working safely around crews, traffic, underground utilities, and changing site conditions What We're Looking For 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience Experience with earthwork, grading, and underground utilities GPS machine control experience preferred Ability to safely operate multiple types of equipment Operators who understand production, grade, and jobsite awareness What We Offer Steady Monday-Friday work with overtime as needed PTO 401(k) with company contribution Medical, dental, and vision insurance FSA and supplemental insurance options Paid training and advancement opportunities About Nutter Nutter Corporation has been doing heavy civil, excavation, and underground utility work since 1992.
