Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as an Entry Level Equipment Operator and kick-start your career in construction and heavy equipment operation! In this role, you will gain hands-on experience operating a variety of machinery, including excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, and water trucks. You will support construction projects by safely and efficiently handling heavy equipment on-site, ensuring smooth operations. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your mechanical skills and grow within the construction industry. Responsibilities Operate a range of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, and water trucks, in accordance with safety standards and project requirements Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and operational logs for project documentation Experience Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with heavy machinery operation is required. Previous experience working on construction sites or with heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, or backhoes is a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be insurable by the company's auto insurance. Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures is beneficial Strong work ethic with a focus on promptness, attendance, safety, teamwork, and learning new skills Ability to follow instructions carefully and work outdoors in various weather conditions This energetic role is perfect for individuals eager to start their career in construction while developing essential skills in heavy equipment operation. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
